For 22 October 2012 marks world-famous corporate training organisation Dale Carnegie Training’s 100 year birthday. Founded by Dale Carnegie in 1912, the organisation has since evolved from one man’s belief in the power of self-improvement to a global organisation that has offices in over 80 countries across the globe.

To celebrate this milestone, Dale Carnegie Training South Africa has launched a ‘Secrets of Success Smartphone application that teaches individuals how to be more effective in the workplace. The app covers topics such as leadership, management and communication, through featuring time-tested tips, videos and interactive tools.

Dale Carnegie Training has also released ‘How to Win Friends and Influence People in a Digital Age’- an updated version of the bestselling book ‘How to Win Friends and Influence People’- which takes Carnegie’s human relationship principles into the electronic communication era.

“Dale Carnegie’s principles represent the foundation of every sound strategy. Effective communication is more important than ever, specifically in the era of instantaneous response, as the consequences of miscommunication can spread far more rapidly with significantly more visible results. If your company can bring that personal connection to the digital space, you will have positioned yourself miles ahead of the competition,” says Brian Anderson, Managing Director of Dale Carnegie Training South Africa.
