Entrepreneur Qualities and Characteristics

The characteristics and qualities of an Entrepreneur is the place where true leadership resides.  Great Entrepreneurs of the business world succeed, not out of their personalities or abilities but out of the strength of their character.

We are what we are, not by what others perceive us to be but by what we are alone when no one is looking. We are going to divert away from the normal hard core facts for this series and get in touch with the soft squishy stuff that for most guys never get to spoken about.

We can look at a successful techie business owner and analyse their skill and ability to type php code at 300 words per minute but unless they have the character traits that we will be discussing, their future may look bleak and lonely.

We will touch on EQ issues and personal values. We will take a tour of your inner heart, mind and soul to reveal just who you are as a person and what foundation you stand on. We will discuss this platform and look for understanding to the very core of the meaning of life as a business owner.

Here is a simple exercise for you to get started. Write down something that you own or possess. It could be a person, item or object. Then write down something else that means more to you than that, and cross out the original item. Then repeat until you cannot find anything or anyone that means more to you than this. You have just derived at your Core. From this thing all your values, meaning and purpose will stem. Take a look at your life, reflect on how you act and react, it all boils down to this very one item.
