In short, what does the course entail?
The course covers all the basics of SEO, from keyword research, to the actual implementation, as well as the upkeep and maintenance aspect of SEO. The full outline is available at www.FreeSEO.co.za. Upon completion, you should easily be able to implement SEO essentials into your website and improve your search engine rankings.
Where are you targeting this?
The course is available globally (being on the internet of course), but is targeted towards the South African market, in particular small business owners with websites.
What made come up with the idea of a free SEO course?
I’ve been involved with SEO for quite a while with my other businesses and realised the potential that it has to drive free, highly targeted traffic to your website. As small business owners in South Africa, the words “free” and “targeted” mean the world. With the influx of bandwidth and lowering of internet costs across the board, every small business owner needs to know about SEO and how to make it work for them. More and more people are using the internet every day (Google processes 250 million searches daily) to find the products and services they want. Small business owners need to learn how to harness the market (using SEO).
Why Free?
SEO is a task that can be done DIY, semi-outsourced, or completely outsourced. We aim to teach people the basics so that they can do it themselves. If they wish to semi-outsource at a later point, they can come to us as we provide this service. Most importantly, we want to educate them so that they can make the best decision down the line, as opposed to falling for misleading marketing from many SEO providers out there.
