I’m sure you all have heard of Springleap and their creatively buzzing t-shirts. If you were to visit their website you’ll most probably see a lot of t-shirt designs and people voting for their favourite one.

According to founders Eran Eyal and Eric Edelstein, the whole point of the Springleap.com website is to enable a crowd. “Our core business and intellectual property is building online communities and harnessing their power. We are all about crowdsourcing; t-shirts are how we chose to express it.”

So, how does it work? Well, every 2 weeks you can vote for your favourite t-shirt design – submitted by other members of the community. The winner gets R7 482.18 (half cash, half in shirts). The t-shirt with the winning design will then be made available on Springleap.com to buy. You will also find the winning t-shirts in stores such as Big Blue and the Springleap shop in Cape Town. In addition, the artist earns royalties on every shirt sold. Nice! Great reason to join in and submit a design!

Apart from voting, Springleap members are real busy-bee’s. They blog, chat, comment, submit their designs, post photos and loads more. This is what makes Springleap so successful – they keep their community entertained and busy.

Now that we have made you all excited about getting your hands on one of these shirts, we’d like to give you the opportunity to win one (or two)! Here we’ve posted images of the Springleap shirts we’ll be giving away. All you need to do is make a sentence using the words Spring, Leap, Entrepreneur, and Superhero and post it in the comment box below. Here’s an example:

“Spring is the time of year when one entrepreneur and one superhero come together and leap across the blueberry bush to explore fruitier ways of doing business!”

Please feel free to be crazy and goofy with this one!

Good luck folks!
