Help this guy… he’s a little crazy

I’ve known Geoff Brink for around 20 years, and he’s one of my best mates in the world. Hence, I can say this with a significant amount of authority: Geoff is not a normal guy. It’s not a bad thing; in fact, I think it is his strong point. Most people who’ve ever spent some time with him have a ‘Geoff story’ – usually one that gets told and retold many times over many braais. Like when I took him to a party in Bishop’s Court and he taught some posh private school guys how to bush dive…a tree. Or when he jumped on the side of a tube train in London as it was taking off. Or when he climbed out of the car going 100 kms on a highway and started ‘road surfing’, tearing holes into the soles of his shoes.

So, when Geoff told me that he was cycling 17,000 km in aid of a good cause (and a little adventure), I was not surprised in the slightest. Check out “The Heart & Sole Tour” on the video below:

So, here’s the thing. Geoff needs you to get involved. He needs your help, not just to get him to Cape Town and help landmine victims, but also to make a noise about this trip. It’s a great cause, and one that Ideate is proud to get behind. Donate money, tell your friends, blog, tweet and send smoke signals. Do whatever you can to make this a trip to talk about.
