Have you got anything on your New Years list for 2010? If not, why not learn a new skill. How about learning some new digital tools and techniques on how to use them? Well, Lynda.com will help you do just that. They’re a great educational resource, an online digital library of educational videos and other training materials on tech topics.
I’ve always wanted to learn how to sufficiently use Photoshop. Apart from resizing or cropping an image I can’t really do anything else with it. I want to learn how to enhance and edit photos. So, I went to Lynday.com to see how the site works. Lynda.com offers videos on various levels from just starting out to more advanced levels for a variety of programs such as Photoshop, MS office, Google docs and even iPhone and Facebook.
The monthly subscriptions are priced in such a way so students and long-time professionals can both use it. From monthly subscriptions from $25 to Annual premium subscriptions from $375/year you can really choose the type of subscription that suits your needs.
I suggest you go check it out if you’re up for learning something new this year. It’s always a good idea to learn something new and you can do this in your own time. So, go check out Lynda.com’s list of programs and pick one that you’ve never got the time to learn.
