SABEFWe reported on Tuesday that we’re quite excited about the upcoming Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW). Subsequently, the nice people at First National Bank (who, by the way are crazy about entrepreneurship in this country) have just given Ideate the schedule for the week. Check this out:

  • FNB SABEF Ekasi Township Programme, 24 October to 20 November: A grass roots initiative aimed at educating emerging entrepreneurs in the ways of drafting a business plan and sourcing and accessing the various finance avenues. These events will be channelled to several major townships nodes across South Africa focusing on access to finance for new, small and micro enterprises. This event is done in co-ordination with the DTI and the South African Youth Development Agency.
  • FNB South African Black Entrepreneurship forum (SABEF) Leadership Club, 17 November: A network of established black entrepreneurs that serve as local heroes and role models will be discussing some of the great lessons learnt by great entrepreneurs in South Africa.
  • FNB Biznetwork Event, 18 November: This event entitled “The Entrepreneurial Journey” will be broadcast to over 3000 entrepreneurs, hosted at over 35 venues across South Africa, Namibia and Botswana.
  • FNB Endeavor State of Entrepreneurship in South Africa Summit, 19 November: Participants can expect to be exposed to international entrepreneurial best practice and knowledge sharing and the opportunity to network with the ‘best of breed’ in South Africa. They will be given invaluable guidance and information on how to grow innovative, sustainable enterprises that have a positive impact on their lives, families and communities.

How do you like THEM apples? What a week! So, roll your lazy-ass mouse over here to plan your schedule and get your tickets. You’ll do this if you’re ACTUALLY serious about being an entrepreneur, or about the  future of this country, or making a difference, or anything to do with making money.

That kind of thing, you know?

You still here?
