Size Does Matter

When thinking and planning about the future of your life and business it is always a good idea to think big. The larger your dreams, the more likely you will achieve greatness.
Goals come with a huge amount of teaching and lessons, we hear of SMART goals and BHAGs together with WIGs and then the all important Dashboards and Mind Maps. All these are important and useful tools to help get the creative quagmire that resides in our heads onto paper but we often mentally limit ourselves that becomes the blockage to creative thought.
The fear of failure and fear of success together with learnt inertia creates a huge obstacle that is not easy to get over. The last person to chat to in this situation would be your mother or mother-in-law. Remember you are in this mental position mostly because of their influence on you and their primary job is to protect you from harm and limit you from taking any risks. So avoid them for now and consult an independent creative business coach or mentor to chat you through a free thinking brain storming future focused session where impossible does not exist. Out of this will distill some wild, huge and impressive plans destined to mould your future into what you never though possible. Always think big, start small and be smart at both.
