My colleagues over The Heavy Chef Project have been hard at work developing a practical course for marketers, managers and entrepreneurs. It’s called The Heavy Chef “Creating Profitable Websites” Course and is for those out there who feel like they need catching up on the digital / web-marketing front.
The course covers the basics of digital marketing, giving you an overview of the new tools, as well as a heads-up on the most important aspects of running a successful web campaign. Best of all, the course is going to be run by people who’ve been at the front line, worked with big brands, and have stared the digital dragon straight in the eye…
So, what does the course cover?
Below is the course outline (you can also download the course brochure here):
- Day One: Strategy – Learn how to do the proper analysis before the project development.
- Day Two: Development – Learn the key differences between the web and traditional media; learn about creating great content; and best of all, learn how to manage grumpy programming teams.
- Day Three: Ongoing – From mobile marketing to social media, Search engines to online media placement, get a handle on the process of managing an effective web presence.
Shew, that’s a lot of stuff to cover, but judging from feedback already, the practical nature of the teaching sticks in the mind far more than the usual droning-on style of many short courses out there.
