Just a reminder that the deadline to submit Workplace Skills Plans is the end of business on Tuesday 30 June. The 2 most compelling reasons to submit the WSP are:

  1. If an organisation doesn’t submit a WSP they are not allowed to count one cent of their training spend on their BEE Scorecard (this doesn’t apply to businesses who’s gross annual turnover is less that R35 million)
  2. A WSP needs to be submitted in order for an organisation to receive half of their Skills Development Levy back.

Most of the submissions are online via the organisation’s SETA’s website but a few SETA’s, such as the Services SETA, still has hardcopy submissions.
