I got a call last week from Anandi from Greenside Golf World, a client of mine over at World Wide Creative, to tell me about this. On Thursday 7th May, Golf Punk Magazine and Jameson Whiskey are hosting the party of the year for (a maximum of) 130 beautiful people* at Chevelle in Cape Town (same venue as the SA Blog Awards). Guests will be treated to a night of whiskey, poker, and as much food and drink as you can handle – all topped off with a cozy little performance by The Parlotones. The price – a mere R1000.
Sound compelling? Well, here’s the best bit. With your tickets, you also get…
- 1 year subscription to Golf Punk magazine
- 1 year sub to Bluff magazine
- A goodie bag, with a sampler bottle of Jamesons
The poker prize will have numerous exclusive spot prizes, but includes a main prize to win a trip to Greenside Golf Travel’s “Putt for a Million Competition” in Mauritius (16 people to Mauritius, 3 nights five star accommodation, flights).
Hard.
Core.
So, naturally, the first thing I asked Anandi was “Can we offer something to our faithful readers at Ideate?”
Anandi got back to me with the following:
The first 10 readers who respond to this post will get R250 off the ticket (i.o.w. it will cost you R750) PLUS you’ll get a Jamesons mini poker set, signed by the Parlotones.
Do we look after you or what??
Start your engines… Send enquiries to anandi@golfpunksa.co.za – don’t forget to quote “Ideate” in your email subject to claim your discounted tickets and your signed poker set.
*yep, I’ll be there.
