This is flipping great. Originally sent to me by my Ideate colleague Shane Dryden of Yuppiechef.co.za fame, I’ve seen this clip of Magnum the Jack Russell retrieving his toy doing the rounds on a few other classic SA blogs. This video epitomises the spirit of so much of South Africa (both the dog and his owner, who does a classic running commentary).
Favourite bit: when the narrator says ‘Jeez, that was intense!’ after Magnum swims back, with some chick screaming about the dog having a heart attack in the background.
