I’m an A-Lister now!

I’ve been waiting for this day my entire blogging career – a freebie delivered to my door with “Andrew Smith, Ideate” on the package.
Here it is:

A poster, a lanyard, and a 2GB USB drive (we needed one of those) loaded with marketing material, videos and press releases for the upcoming Virgin Festival. I’m really chuffed that their PR company looked out our About Us page and chose my name to address the parcel to. Clearly my profile looks like the most likely to support a musical festival?
A poster and a USB drive is not exactly a free laptop or a weekend away for two, but I’m hoping it’s the start of bigger and better things. More mature bloggers would shun freebies as a hindrance to objective journalism. I say bring it on!

Andrew, do you have the details of the PR agency that sent you this marketing material? I’m running the site http://www.thevirginfest.co.za and would like to get in touch with them.
Thanks!

Will you still be allowed to attend, even if you aren’t a virgin?
