You can set this man free…

The guy behind bars in the picture below is Gerhard Pieterse, chairman of Autism Western Cape.

Gerhard’s voluntarily put himself in jail to raise funds for his organisation, which is in desperate need of funding to assist the rapidly growing challenge of Autism in South Africa. The Jail4Bail initiative has been featured in Kfm, eTV, Cape Times, and numerous other media channels.

We also interviewed Gerhard a week ago, and believe me, he’s not having fun. He needs R1m to get out. They’ve just reached R250k… which is great, but not enough. You can help set him free (and assist the struggling schools and facilities in the Western Cape at the same time), by donating a small amount into their bank account:
