Do your bit!I’ve just done my bit for “the cause” by downloading Firefox 3. It feels a bit like a blood-drive or a cancer awareness campaign. Firefox have put together a great marketing gimmick by attempting to break the world record for downloads of a program in one day. Read about the campaign here.

Our sites are hosted with the professional and fast South African crowd, Hetzner. Thank goodness we don’t host the Firefox downloads as well! At 7mb per download, 1,000,000 downloads would cost us about R630,000.

Those new undersea cables couldn’t arrive at our doorstep a moment too soon!

I’m disappointed that the people of Chad, Somalia, Solomon Islands and Liberia didn’t download a single copy of FF3.
