I originally thought this video was a spoof of some kind, but now I’m not so sure.

What do you think? Also check out the website: www.500dollarstartup.com

The kid on set is an interesting touch. Is he deliberately making the point that you can now work from home and be closer to the family? If so, the fake background seems even more out of place. Is starting a business like being in the desert?

Hey Shane, thanks for posting my video. Your site rocks! I like the Youtube embed in the old school tv set. Very cool.

The fact that you picked up the video is a prime example of free and easy access to global communication, which is part of the reason you can start a business for only $500. Trying to convince Americans that there is life beyond our borders and that they might want to do business with us has been an exercise in patience. I will definitely use this as a case study.

I am curious to know what sort of services and infrastructure exist in your part of the world for entrepreneurs. Example – Virtual offices, virtual phone system providers, drop shippers, freelancers and the like?

What is your outlook on the global economy?
    Keep up the good work.

Its funny you say that it looks like a set, because after I shot the video I thought it looked like a set too. I assure you that I was outside at Red Rock Canyon behind my house in Las Vegas. I just felt like being outside and the kids needed some exercise. Multi-tasking, I guess.
