Put it this way, if you care enough to answer the phone properly and return your calls – you’re already on the right track in a country where service standards come second to the 10h15 tea break.

But, if you really want to rock the local business landscape – take an industry notorious for crappy service and make it remarkable better.

Take, for example, the motor vehicle repair outfit. In most cases, a good customer service indicator in this industry is a working, usable, clean waiting area chair and a magazine published less than 5 years ago. So imagine a user-friendly, completely price transparent establishment that’s clean, fast, efficient and green.

That’s what HiQ in the UK have done with their recent rebranding. They’re transformed themselves into a vehicle service station which, just from the pictures, makes us want to send time there.

From bookstores to lawyer’s offices, just put yourself in the customer’s shoes and imagine the ultimate branded space.
