2008 South Africa Blog Awards are on!

The 2008 SA Blog Awards site is up and running – the nomination stage begins on the 11 February 2008, so get your mouse clicking finger ready!
There are some new categories added: Best Group Blog – Best Website Promoting Blogging – Best Sports blog – Best Green/Environmental Blog – Best Blog about Design – Best African Language Blog (other than english, and including Afrikaans) – Best Social Upliftment Blog – Most Controversial Blog – Best Travel blog – Best Undiscovered Blog – and a category for the Best Post about the SA Blog Awards.
I think this year marks a maturity in the awards – the voting process is way better and there will be less room for mud slinging and controversy. And the great news is, there is less chance of us finding our fellow Ideator, Jon Cherry murdered in a dark alley.
