An American company called 800-CEO-READ have announced the winners in their 2007 Business Book of the Year awards. I haven’t read any of the books myself, but their might be some gems in the list. If you’ve read any, please leave a comment.
The overall winner was "Made to Stick" by Chip and Dan Heath.
Mark Twain once observed, "A lie can get halfway around the world before the truth can even get its boots on." His observation rings true: Urban legends, conspiracy theories, and bogus public-health scares circulate effortlessly. Meanwhile, people with important ideas–business people, teachers, politicians, journalists, and others–struggle to make their ideas "stick."
Why do some ideas thrive while others die? And how do we improve the chances of worthy ideas?

The winner in the Small Business category is "No Man’s Land" by Doug Tatum.
Capturing the phenomenon of no mans land – when businesses are too big to be considered small but still too small to be considered big – Tatum’s book offers readers the tools they need to survive this crucial stage of growth.
