Ideate welcomes Rui Esteves to the tribe!

After the arrival of Claire Stewart and Jon Cherry, we’re proud and excited to announce our latest contributor to the wild, frantic rantings of the Ideate crew: Rui Esteves.
Rui is a South African original. That is, he’s actually Portuguese, but lives, breathes, and is passionate about all things South African. Rui also happens to know a thing or two about the business, internet and marketing world. After studying and earning a BCom, Rui started his career working in an online gambling company. While on the beach, he discussed the idea of starting a coffee shop with his business partner Brad. It was a discussion that led to the fastest growing coffee shop franchise in South Africa, Vida e Caffe. After selling their stake in Vida 6 years later, Rui and Brad are now back in business with their latest venture Cervejas São Gabriel, selling a range of imported Portuguese beers.
Rui is a natural marketer and brings his considerable experience in South African business to the Ideate readership. We expect Rui to bring his observations to our pages without pulling punches, and hopefully he’ll ruffle a few feathers.
