A month ago I had a similar clash with spam and then, by some miracle, it disappeared *touches wood*

As for Gmail, I still get one or two that slip the radar but it’s definately the best web-based mail alternative when it comes to stopping spam from reaching my Inbox.

Deon, believe it or not, I do use Gmail. We also reccommend all our clients use it.

After some scratching, I figured the problem here is that the spam is generated by using my old domain ‘world-africa.com’ (a catch-all that reroutes to my current address) as a ‘from address’ and sending email from it to millions of people. The email I then get is all responses to that mail by pissed off people around the world – all saying ‘Please stop spamming me’

The irony is killing me.

Remind me again why everyone doesn’t use gmail? I have almost forgotten what spam looks like – if it weren’t for the robots filling out my blog comments.

if i screw my eyes up just a little, i think i can see who your mails are from… I’m sure these aren’t the smart ass comments that you’d expect from your friends, I must admit i read Shane’s and his inspired me to write mine, so if you’re gonna get mad then get mad at him…

Why is Mike sending you so many emails? I like your folders…pretty darn organised! Looking at your outlook somehow makes me feel guilty, Voyeurism comes to mind!
