That sign has been there as long as we live in nearby Klaas Voogds West (since April 2000).
And about pricing: A game drive with imported and tamed big 5 on display cost over R 700.00 and a game drive with real indigenous game in the 'veld' just R 150.00 and where most game reserves with big 5 make big money with is 'canned hunting' (20.000 English Pound to shoot a rhino = a bargain!!).
Anyway: that hiking trail in Montagu (worthwhile doing it in Winter) does not have to cost anything. You start at the gate with that sign and just before you have to pay you turn around (we're Dutch - capice?)
Oh .... uh; until so far there was never somebody in the office ....

I found this to be quite true. I recently put a quote together for a client, and they were hassling over the bottom line. After a bit of a discussion we decided to break the bottom line down into three seperate stages, and hey-presto we had a deal! The actual price did not change, only the way that the deal was structured.
