Cape Craziness

One of my goals over the next two years is to swim the Robben Island swim to Cape Town. 7.5km of freezing cold shark-infested Atlantic water. One of the reasons for this goal is that I have a very cocky friend who’s done it twice. Another is that not many people have actually done it – apparently only 300 or so. Another is that I’m trying to drag (very sceptical business partner) Mike along with me. Anyway, it turns out I’m not the only one who wants to do it. Next Friday, there’s 100 other lunatics adding their names to the roster – all on one day. Find out why here.

Good luck with that. Setting goals is the only way to live… I’m working towards taking part in a mini triathlon with the girlfriend in June.
