Vincent Maher of has recently launched a new blog about personal finance, bank charges and the like. Vincent is with the Mail & Guardian, although this blog seems to be a private project, backed with money from Virgin (although apparently he has license to write whatever he wants). Here is is summary of what it’s about:
The point of this blog is to provide information about personal finance issues and banking in general in a way that makes sense to people who aren’t accountants.

I must say that I think it is great that the big corporates in SA are getting involved in the SA blog scene. International bloggers are making decent money by just voicing their opinions. So it’s really good to see SA progressing…

I Think bank changes so going crazy because of the current economy situation. Those days to take a loan at the bank it like taking money to a loan shack. People can’t even ask the bank to buy a car or a house because of the interest rates.
