Don’t you think Google’s Valentine’s logo reads “Googe”?
Maybe the stem of the strawberry is meant to be the “l” ? Or, in a tragic case of events, Google has forgotten the big “L” for “Love” on Valentine’s Day.

Funny indeed. Strange how I didn’t notice. I guess when a company has such an established brand very few people pick up any changes/errors, intended or otherwise.
Maybe they tried some fancy merge between Valentine’s day and some dead poet!?

Or maybe the strawberry’s stem represents the L? Thats how I figured it.

The Official Google Blog responded to the worldwide outcry with this post:

They don’t answer the question outright, but they do seem to be going with the “stem is an L” theory.

if you look closely at the chocolate on the strawberry you’ll see it’s in the shape of a heart!
