Vista's 'rain' effect irritated everyone

We would like to know where South Africa shops online!

If you live in SA, and make purchases online, leave a comment and let us know which stores you choose to buy from.

Should make for some interesting reading.

(Ye, and we are not really interested in knowing about your own sites. Thank you)

    Good DAy

You want to tell me South Africans buy online locally? Interesting.

Only local sites have tried to shop from is Musica and Kalahari. Musica never worked, kalahari took 2 to 3 weeks to deliver, which is if they did not come back after 2 weeks to tell you the product is out of stock.

    Regards

I’ve had great success with every purchase from kalahari.net (about 4 or 5 now) and i’ve recently pre-ordered 3 copies of Supreme Commander from take2.co.za – will see how they fare :)

I’m contemplating buying my next pc components from prophecy.co.za, but will see when i’ve saved up the money..

I enjoy online shopping – I get to browse at my leisure without a salesman breathing down my neck!

Kalahri for books and DVDs, Digital Planet for a modem, Notebook.co.za for 4 laptops.

I’ve booked tickets at Ster Kinekor and the airlines, but that’s a slightly different category.

On the international front, I’ve bought plenty of software that only required downloading.

Good day. Nice reader poll for a Friday.

Kalahari.net for books and DVD’s. Couple of weeks, but never had a non-delivery or out of stock problem.

I’ve used Exclusive Books Online store for two Tony Manning books. No complaints there either.

Are there any other worth considering?

Digital Planet and Kalahari. DP will match any price online, which I have exercised. :-)

Other than that, 1 word of advise. I wouldn’t shop at have2have.co.za – serious “fall-of-the-back-of-a-truck” stuff hey. Their prices are always too good to be true. I think they are already selling Playstation 4’s and XBox 720’s. hehe…

take2.co.za, because they’re based a 15 min drive away so I can go fetch my goods at my leisure whenever they arrive and save on delivery costs. Not a single complaint so far, their service is well orchestrated.

    Amazon.co.uk once or twice.

Kalahari, Digital Planet and a gem for board game lovers, like myself, http://www.boardgames.co.za. They are importing all the great international games and delivery was within 3 days both times.

Still searching for that Idea I want to take the online selling route! :)

I’ve used Kalahari, netflorist and sterkinekor extensively.

Haven’t had a problem with Kala and save on delivery by collecting at HQ.

Also lots of air tickets from 1time, kulula and SAA (expensive suckers).

    cheers
