This is my most frequented site over the past couple of weeks. I’m on the road a lot: popping into clients, meeting new customers and attending various talks and networking soirées – and so, finding good places to gather can be a bit of challenge. CaffeNeo has effectively cornered the Atlantic Seaboard for me. Nothing can touch it for convenience: beautiful setting (it overlooks the sea); easy to locate (it’s right opposite the Mouille Point lighthouse); loads of parking; great location and well priced. There is a great Cape Town vibe about the place, and the waitrons are all pretty cool folk – upon returning, you feel like part of the family.
The best part of this spot, however, is their coffee. Not many places can make me yearn for their product, but CaffeNeo has a special flair for mixing up a great cuppa. This offering ticks a lot of boxes. Decadent, creamy foam. Thick, generous caramel flavour, and pretty decent presentation definitely makes this one of Cape Town’s better blends.

Internet: Yep – iBurst 100%, and they have wireless internet. I also see a lot of 3G cards so this place is pretty wired.
Plugpoints: There are plugs all over the place.
Cappuccino price: R12
Meeting potential out of ten: 8 – the laid back atmosphere puts people at ease.
Coffee rating out of ten: 8 – presentation can be slightly better, but full marks for flavour.
