Ideate in 2006

2006 was an encouraging year for the Ideate bloggers as we started to see readers and comments increase. It’s hard to tell exactly how many people read a blog because they might be receiving it via e-mail (through Feedburner), RSS feed, or an aggregator like Bloglines. Anyway, we’re pretty sure that by now there are a few people other than our moms and spouses who read Ideate. I generated this graph from the server logs so it doesn’t give the full picture, but I think the trend is fairly accurate.
Some interesting people have started linking to us, for example this site: SEDA
Thanks to everyone who reads what we write, and hopefully you will stick around in 2007!
(The graph was created by a site I found called Kidz Zone.)

The growth has been well deserved. I know its primarily SA small business you look to cover but its really useful and interesting from a UK point of view as well. The business issues are the same world over. Keep up the good work guys.

Don’t tell me you all missed the Z-list phenomenon? How a good idea (promoting blogs from others than the A-bloggers) can be hiyacked (by an A-blogger even!) and turned into a race of ranking, voting and down-voting (pathetic!).
Had lots of fun with it (and discovered many interesting blogs in the same go), especially when I found out I ‘predicted’ the voting outcome
