So there I was, confidently hacking down the IMC of SA’s inability to communicate with it’s people, and then this: a response to my Jerry Macguire manifesto the other day.
This is a letter from Yvonne Johnston, the CEO of International Marketing Council of South Africa, after I e-mailed her to take a look at my epiphany on how to solve SA’s marketing woes.
Dear Fred,
Where are you based? Would you like to meet so that I can take you fully through our strategy and so that you have a better understanding of what we do and don’t do, and what our challenges and opportunities are.

Talk about a quick respons (that’s within a week, not?), but call me skeptical, Fred:
You received a letter which asks where you are based?
Plus she’s glad you care, but still wants to make you understand better what they do and to take you fully through their strategy?
