Flag Kit Re-launch

In June we took over a company called “Flag Kit” from a friend, and promised to grow it into a lively online business selling flags to South Africans. We never anticipated how many “urgent” enquiries there could be in a single day. Who would have thought the flags were a high-priority item? Resturants, municipalities, speakers, schools – all needing country flags on the double. In order to cope with the demand we recently re-launched the site with an “Instant Quote” system, that allows people to add items to their “cart”, calculate delivery, and place an order if they are happy. It’s a type of e-commerce, but without the credit-card bit that is costly to implement and scary for most South Africans.

If you have a moment, please take the system for a spin and let us know how usable it us. You can visit the site by clicking here.

As the local blonde-proof site tester, I can say that I would be able to confidently order flags on-line. Very easy system. Nice work guys. DS

Thanks for the heads up Steve. I’ve fixed it up. That’s the benefit of having a blog where people can give feedback!
