An interesting phenomenon that seems to appearing in modern business.  It seems that in this techno-crazy world there is a desire to return to some of the old.
I’ve heard countless times that people are tired of feeling that they are a mark for a business’ projected sales.  According to our in-house marketing guy, Fred, people are exposed to 3000 messages a day, which are asking something from them.  Either by TV, magazines, the internet, whatever the media may be, people are swamped by pleas, to buy this, subscribe to that.  Out of these 3000 please a day we respond to about 3.  That’s a 1 in 1000 rate in reaching an audience.  It’s loud out there people.
So if people don’t respond to this, then what do they respond to.  Well in the words of one of my clients, "soul".  The people are tired of the 3000 empty offers a day.  People are open to soul, honesty, authenticity, character.  No matter how advanced this society may become, these age old realities will always allure people.
We’re now experiencing with an authentic marketing approach, an idea that is free of propaganda and places our clients in a position of trust and authentic relationship.  Perhaps it’s time that the table turned.  It really is loud out there.
